MID 1960s

from mod to op art

Gallery Dress

The Gallery Dress was inspired by a painting by Lucas Blok which is exhibited at Heitsch Gallery in Munich. grünten mode was invited by Heitsch Gallery to be part of their event for the exhibition "New Masters vs modern" (29.10.16 - 21.01.17). Many of grünten mode's 1960s op art designs fitted the paintings at the exhibition very well. grünten mode's part was showing the influences of art on fashion and lifestyle. The combination of the colours on the front of the dress can be found in Lucas Blok's painting "Untitled 2007".
